Vegan Pizza Dip
Serves 2-10
cook time 20 minutes.
This is a family recipe Whatever the event or party, someone is making this dip. I tweaked it and made it vegan. This dish is delicious vegan or not. The first time I made it, I ate the whole pan by myself. You will too.
Bag of crumbles 16oz. Pace picante sauce mild
8 oz. Miyoko's Plain Vegan Cream Cheese 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
7.1 oz. Daiya Vegan shreds 1/3 cup Unsweetened Almond milk
10" or 12" Pizza Shaped Pan salt pepper to taste
1/2 white onion chopped
Put 1tbs of olive oil in skillet, add onions
Cook till onions are translucent add crumbles.
salt and pepper to taste, add 1tbs of Italian seasoning.
Stir and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Remove crumbles from skillet, put in bowl and save for later.
In small bowl put vegan cream cheese and 1/3 cup of milk, 1tbs of Italian seasoning together, mix well.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on base of pizza shaped pan. Covering entire pan. This is the crust.
Pour Pace picante sauce over the cream cheese mixture, not to mess up the cream cheese mix, spread it evenly. This is the red sauce of pizza.
Add the crumbles, they should have cooled down by now. Sprinkle them over the picante sauce, careful not to mess up the salsa. Cover entire salsa.
Add Shreds over the crumbles.
It should look like a pizza with all the layers.
Chill in fridge for 20 minutes. Dip, Eat, and Enjoy with Tortilla Chips.
