Stacie's Almond Dream Dates
makes 12
cook time 5 minutes.
12 pitted medjool dates
1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
dark chocolate melts
12 almond halves
Line pan with parchment paper or foil.
Melt your chocolate per instructions.
Open the dates and insert an almond,
Spoon in peanut butter over almond.
Grab your filled date and submerge in chocolate.
Place on parchment paper.
Repeat until all dates are filled and submerged in chocolate.
Place in fridge or freezer 10-15 minutes.
Remove from fridge and enjoy.
I love these snacks, they are healthy full of protein, and fiber. You don't have to feel guilty eating them, or letting your children enjoy them. Better than a candy bar in my opinion.
I place extras in a freezer safe bag, and they keep really well. Just a couple out and eat.
And studies have shown that Medjool dates can help increase potassium, have b vitamins, help fight tiredness and fatigue, stimulate immune system, reduce inflammation, improve hormone regulation.
